# Funders & Donors

ResearchHub enables funders, donors, and philanthropists to support scientific research globally through our Fund tab. All projects funded on ResearchHub flows through a pipeline that promotes transparency and reproducibility: 1) public preregistration, 2) open peer review, and 3) visible tracking of results. By funding studies at the preregistration stage — before experiments begin — funders gain visibility into research design, progress, and outcomes from start to finish.

#### **Advantages of Funding on ResearchHub**

1. **Earn High-Yield Funding Credits**. With our Endowments feature, all ResearchCoin (RSC) held in your account automatically generates Funding Credits.
2. **Engage a large pool of global researchers**. All Funding Opportunities posted on ResearchHub are advertised to our global user base. 
3. **Get help with targeted outreach**. Our LLM powered Expert Finder helps you identify qualified domain researchers to request applications or peer reviews.
4. **Enhanced reproducibility**. All project proposals on ResearchHub are required to preregister their study design, promoting reproducibility and allowing you to distribute research funding with confidence.
5. **Open, fast peer review**. ResearchHub incentivizes peer reviews in RSC to ensure quick turnaround (<10 days) and high-quality (all reviews vetted by editorial team). This enables funders to vet proposals quickly, and gives applicants opportunities to improve their study design, strengthening the science from conception.
6. **Low overhead costs**. With overhead costs capped at 0-10%, more of your funding goes straight to the science.
7. **Flexible payment options**. Funders can pay via DAF, ResearchCoin, Credit Card, or Apple Pay.

#### **Why Traditional Research Funding Falls Short**

#### What are the Fees?

ResearchHub takes a 9% fee on any amounts funded to proposals. Why 9%?
