AI Assistant

Write a funding proposal or a request for proposals in minutes, not weeks.

ResearchHub’s AI Assistant works with you in real time to draft, refine, and publish directly on the platform. Researchers spend less time writing, and funders get strong applications faster.

Getting started

Click Publish in the top left, then choose Proposal if you’re a researcher seeking funding, or Request for Proposals if you’re a funder looking to support research. Either option opens the AI chat interface.

For researchers: publish a funding proposal

Start by describing the research you need funding for. The AI Assistant turns your description into a structured proposal, which you can refine through conversation until it reads the way you want.

If your ORCID or Google Scholar profile is linked to your ResearchHub account, the assistant automatically uses your publication record as context. Your draft reflects your actual expertise without you having to restate it.

If you’re responding to a specific funding opportunity, you can select an open RFP to apply to. The assistant will then tailor your proposal to that funder’s goals and requirements.

For funders: publish a request for proposals

Describe the research you want to fund, whether it’s a broad area like longevity or rare disease or a specific scientific question. The assistant drafts an RFP that clearly communicates your goals, so we can target the best researchers to find it and apply. You can attach supporting documents for additional context, or start from one of the suggested prompts.

Prefer to talk it through? Use the Concierge option to book a call with a PhD on our team. They’ll help you shape your funding opportunity and draft the RFP for you.
