# Fund

ResearchHub connects people who fund science with researchers doing it. Donors, nonprofits, and other funding organizations can fund research directly, and researchers can raise money for their work.

On the [RFP](https://www.researchhub.com/fund) tab, **funders** publish requests for proposals (RFPs) with a set budget to attract applications in a specific research area. **Researchers** can apply to open RFPs or post their own proposals for open crowdfunding.
